Tara

The Hindu goddess Tara, whose name means star, comes in many different colors. White Tara represents compassion, Yellow Tara shows prosperity and Green Tara aids with healing. Here we see the Blue Tara, a protector of the feminine and remover of obstacles. Tara enjoys enormous popularity in the Tibetan pantheon. She is said to have emerged from a lotus blooming in the middle of a lake. Here we see her in levitation above her lotus in pure calm and serenity.
