St.
Dymphna
Our most popular item. St. Dymphna, patron saint of the mentally ill,
is invoked by those who suffer emotional and nervous disorders. Born in
Ireland, her short life ended as a martyr in Geel, Belgium where an asylum
was founded in her honor. The statue shown here is located in the International
Shrine of St. Jude in New Orleans. (For more information on St. Dymphna
read Saints Preserve Us! by Sean Kelly and Rosemary Rogers, Random House,
1993.)
She
is available as an 8x10 framed print, candle, greeting card and T-shirt.
(Sleeping in the T-shirt has been known to cure insomnia.)
