Oya

The Yoruban Goddess of the Winds is shown here twirling around her favorite offerings: grapes, plums, and, if you look under her skirt, 9 slices of eggplant. She is invoked for transformation and sweeping away decay. When you need change in your life and have the courage to accept it, approach her. Be advised that her methods are sudden and dramatic. Her warrior energy is the force behind hurricanes and tornadoes. The cemetery is her garden.
Oya is particularly relevant to the independent woman who is responsible for her own financial and emotional well-being. She is a shrewd businesswoman and rules the marketplace. Known as Yansa in Brazil, she enjoys a huge following there.

Oya is available as 8x10 framed print, t-shirt, candle and greeting card.
