Blissful Buddhas

We came across this happy trio in our travels. They appear to be celebrating something wonderful. In less than three weeks, spring will be here, bringing with it a sense of relief and renewal. For many of us, this has been a very long, tedious winter. Here is a quote from R.L. Wing's The Illustrated I Ching.

Hexagram 42- Benefit
Exceptional energy is being directed into the current situation. Many things will become possible, even very difficult undertakings. It is important to make the best use of your time now, as conditions will change. Pursue your goals on a daily basis and remain persevering. Keep in mind that your immediate goals should serve to Benefit your entire milieu in order to attain the successes implied in this hexagram. The kind of energy available can be utilized only on worthwhile endeavors....The Chinese say of this hexagram: "To rule is truly to serve."
